Guess which phone it is... The Nokia 3310
The Nokia 3310 is known as a strong and rugged phone, you'll surely agree with me when I say It is the strongest for its size. It was announced on September 1, 2000. As at that time time it was considered a Hi-tech phone.
Looking back you'll wonder how time flies and realize how much technology has developed rapidly from the beginning of the new millennium till now. Today we have smartphones with amazing features which leaves one at awe.
In case you've forgotten the features of the Nokia 3310 and how it feels, let me remind you:
It measured 113 x 48 x 22 mm and weighed 133g
It had a monochrome 84 x 48 pixel display
It supported almost any network
The 900 mAh battery had a standby time of about 260 hours (almost 11 days) which meant the phone lasted for a very long time between charges. There are a lot of funny meme about it such as the one below;
The phone could store 250 contacts, and had T9 predictive input, 35 ringtones, a clock, stopwatch, timer, calculator, currency converter and a tone composer.
The top side of the phone had a power button, and navigation through the menus was performed with the up and down arrow keys, with selections chosen via the blue menu button. The “c” button meanwhile took on duties of “back”, “undo” and “delete”, and the keypad itself was responsive and easy to use.
Remember the games too?
